Overview

Composed by Happy Teams™ ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you sign up.
• Company information: your company's name and, if your work email domain matches, the domain used so teammates can join the same account.
• Assessment data: any Enneagram, DISC, 16Personalities, or Strengths results you choose to enter — entirely optional.
• Conversation content: the text of your coaching sessions, private to you (see "Chat privacy" below).
• Billing information: once paid plans launch, payment will be handled by Stripe — we will never store your full card number ourselves.
• Usage data: basic technical information (browser type, session identifiers) needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

• To deliver and improve your coaching experience.
• To personalize AI responses based on the context you've provided.
• To verify your account and keep it secure.
• To detect and prevent misuse of the platform.

Chat privacy

Your conversations are private to you. Company leaders and HR directors cannot read your chat transcripts — only you can. Every conversation is automatically deleted 30 days after its last message, for every account, whether or not it's on a paid plan.

One honest exception: an automated safety system scans messages as they're sent to check for content involving harm, threats, or serious misconduct. This is automatic, not a person reading your chats — but if it's triggered, a short excerpt may be logged and, in serious cases, may result in your account (or your company's) being paused for review.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to run Composed — Google (for AI-generated coaching responses), Resend (for account emails), and Supabase (our database and hosting provider) — each bound by their own confidentiality and security commitments.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@happyteams.net. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard practices — encrypted passwords, HTTPS-only connections, and database-level access rules that restrict every account to its own data. No method of storage is 100% secure, and we continuously work to protect your information.
